What is Jeevandarshini?

Jeevandarshini, a project by Vision Foundation, is a comprehensive environmental conservation initiative aimed at promoting sustainability and protecting the planet for future generations. The project focuses on empowering communities, particularly children and youth, to take ownership of environmental conservation efforts. For that Vision Foundation initiated GO GREEN - BREATHE CLEAN Movement.

Objectives of Jeevandarshini:

1. Environmental Awareness: Educate communities about the importance of environmental conservation and the impact of human activities on the environment.
2. Sustainable Practices: 2. Promote eco-friendly practices, such as reducing waste, conserving water, and using renewable energy sources.
3. Community Engagement: Engage local communities in environmental conservation efforts, encouraging them to take ownership of their natural resources.

Activities of Jeevandarshini:

1.GO GREEN - BREATHE CLEAN Movement: Organize campaigns and awareness programmes to promote reforestation and afforestation.
2.Tree Plantation Drives: Organize tree plantation drives to promote reforestation and afforestation.
3. Environmental Workshops: Conduct workshops and seminars on environmental conservation, climate change, and sustainable living.
4. Waste Management: Implement effective waste management systems, promoting recycling and reducing waste.
5. Eco-Clubs: Establish eco-clubs in schools and colleges to educate students about environmental conservation.

Impact of Jeevandarshini:

Estimate Expenses:

To estimate the costs for 12 Campaigns and 48 awareness programmes in schools & colleges is Rs 6,00,000/- inclusing print, stationery and food & travel for staff and volunteers..
